Books on Philosophy for Newbies

Can any of you recommend good books on Philosophy for a person starting to study Philosophy?

I specifically want books that are on a university level so I'll want to continue  studying I'll be on the same area, knowledge and terms with a freshmen that is majoroing in philosophy.

I really liked "Ten Philosophical Mistakes" by Mortimer Adler. Maybe not exactly an introduction to philosphy but still easy to understand, and it gives you a good idea of the basics of philosophy. Also, "Aritstotle Made Easy" by the same author.

Not a book about the various philosophical schools of thought but rather about our evolutionary history that causes us to think about moral questions: The Expanding Circle: Ethics and Sociobiology, by Peter Singer
