Truely knowing one is to become one.

Book, Film, or Music?.

Can you take ONE word from the last title of either the book, film, or song/music title given in answer by the last respondent, and come up with another book, film, or song title that includes that same word?  If you can (as an option), it would make for a more interesting read/insight if you could write your own short personal rating/opinion of the particular book, film, or song title you've chosen in answer to this challenge whether good, bad, or indifferent.

Film; The Matrix.

What is it about this movie? Take a bit of religious philosophy, give it a futurist twist; add loads of Special FXs, and shake with loads of thrills/action, and you have a movie thats still very adhesive to the eyes.

Book: The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.

A vivid portrait of the meat packing industry at around the turn of the century; it's required reading in most high schools and is almost guaranteed to turn anyone into a vegetarian.

Movie:  Jungle Fever

1991 drama directed by Spike Lee

The movie is about an interracial romance between a successful married African American male and an Italian-American woman.  They met at work.  It has a sub-plot about drug abuse. Great acting and a great movie.

Book: Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby

This is an autobiographical book concerning the author's love affair with football and the effect that love has on the rest of his life. It was also made into a movie (and then into a remake of that movie).

A 1997 film version starred Colin Firth as Paul Ashworth, a character based on Hornby. It recounted his life as a teacher at a school in North London, and his burgeoning romance with Sarah Hughes (played by Ruth Gemmell), a new teacher who joins Ashworth's school. The film culminates with Arsenal's match against title rivals Liverpool in the final game of the season in May of 1989.
