Bluetooth GPS receiver

I am looking for a bluetooth GPS receiver. somebody told me that the bluetooth ones are slow in acquiring position when they initialize.

 is it true? can anybody recommend a fast one?

Hi.

 GPS devices acquiring position regardless of the connection type.

ofcourse, you can find a bluetooth device that takes more time but the fact that it's bluetooth got nothing to do with it.

 In my case a bought a serial device because bluetooth is not functioning as it should on my device (IMATE2K).

I have both.

 

I have PDA (IPAQ) with builtin GPS, and also BT one.

The BT is much faster, and I use it a lot so can compare.

 

I guess its due to the PDA (limited) reources and size of antena.
