A:That's what I hear. My dad just got a new 40 inch LCD for his 60th birthday, which was yesterday (yaaay Daaaddy). My sister and I bought him (to go with the new TV) a Blue Ray player. I know that the DVD company was bought and that all the new DVD's will be in this new HD format. If you're buying a new player, I'd recommend the Blue Ray player, because you can use it for everything. Have a great day!
