Blood trail coming from nowhere

My boyfriend called me and he said that he was sitting in his bathroom leaned over listening to music while closing his eyes, when he opened them there was a trail of blood on his calf coming from nowhere. He checked all of his body orifices and he couldn't find the source of the blood. Can anyone help?

i agree with lavlav. even if he can't find the source of the blood, it's coming from somewhere and it should be taken care of immediately.
