Blood donation and replenishing

I donated blood today, and I wonder how much time my body needs to replenish my blood supply ( you are not allowed to donate blood if you already did so in the last three months ).

Plasma volumes will return to normal in around 24 hours, while red blood cells are replaced by bone marrow into the circulatory system within about 3-5 weeks, and lost iron replaced over 6-8 weeks. This recovery process can be speeded by eating foods high in complex carbohydrates, iron, and other trace minerals.

I've been a blood(and plasma) donor for nearly 35 years and the safety margin used is ;blood donation every 3 months and plasma every fortnight. No donations can be given if you had an internal check up.
