I am an assistant with cardioliogy ,  ups and downs of high blood pressure are b-coming very alarming due to the fact Hypotension and Hypertension meds are not available as they should  be due to cost .  They start off by giving you a brand which then becomes a generic with which the individual taking the medicine has no knowledge of then ,  gets great results from the brand with then ,  a generic comes the pateint then wants the brand at a cost of which is not in there budget.
