A:I have 190/100 blood pressure in Dr. Office. At home 140/80---I was on Verapamil SR240---now they switched me to Benicar HCT and Verapamil 180. My heart is pounding out of my chest and runs 105 to 120. I am miserable. Doctor does not seem to care. Should those two be taken together?
