A:Blog carnivals are basically collections of posts from a variety of different bloggers, often published on a weekly basis.
How it works is like this:
- A blogger who writes about cats, for example, sets up a "Carnival of Cats"
- Other cat bloggers are invited to submit their own posts or posts by other cat bloggers for inclusion in the carnival
- The Carnival can be floating, which is to say that every week a different cat blogger hosts the carnival on his/her blog
Carnivals are good for giving bloggers exposure, either through the posts they submit to the carnival or by hosting the carnival
