Can anyone wear black lipstick or is it just for Goths?

I don't think that black lipstick is flattering. It seems more costumey to me than fashionable.
I'm the type of girl who will burst out laughing in dead silence because of something that happened yesterday.
I always thought of it for goths, but you could try.
