We need to breath continously to provide oxygen to our vital organs. Oxygen Is absorbed through your lungs, links to the hemoglobin (red blood cells) where they deliever to our body. All areas are important, but the heart & brain are 2 of the most important organs that require oxygen. Without a constant supply of oxygen, the organs begin to fail and die. Also breathing is normally an involuntery action that occurs in the brain stem.

Past is gone, future no one knows so I live every present moment

We need to breathe in order to carry out various processes of the body the animals need energy to be used by the body cells. This energy is liberated by burning the food, i.e., oxidize food with oxygen through the process of cellular respiration. It was Antoine Lavoisier (1743-1794) who reported that animals obtain oxygen from environment and use it for cellular respiration to synthesize ATP and produce carbon dioxide and water that are eventually liberated into the environment.
