I believe the Bible to be true, and Jesus condemned the Pharisees and Sadducees many times for straying from the Scriptures.
Matthew 22:29 - Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
He even taught Noah to be a litteral fact. "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be" Matthew 24:37
