Bermuda grass

Bermuda grass    

I live in florida. Our St. Augustine grass is infested with Bermuda grass.  How can we get rid of it without killing the good grass.  How long would any type of application work?  Will it eventually take over the St. Augustine if not treated?  Thanks Alice flood
