Benefits New Deal in the UK

Can the Jobcentre in the United Kingdom force someone who is on the New Deal to do a work placement?



Please bear in mind that laws do change and I would need someone who has recent knowledge/experience.

Yes they can but the work placement must be relevant to your CV
