Beer

In England beers used to have the word "entire" in their name - Thrales Entire, Noakes Entire, Whitbread & Co's entire etc. Why was that?

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Entire beer was blended from different grogs, to combine the flavours of the individual types into a single beverage.  Kind of a tutti frutti brewski!

To my understanding, the term "entire" in relation to English beers, refers to beer brewed without adulterarting substances. Some early brewing practices used all sorts of noxious and toxic substances, and in some cases even narcotics. The term "entire" seems to mean beer brewed from just Malt, Hops, Water and Yeast. Very similar to the German beer purity laws

Would you Prefer the Superbowl Over the Budweiser Commercials?

If there’s one thing that I look forward to during the Superbowl, I have to say that it’s those wackily funny Budweiser commercials they air. That’s right, it’s scandalous, I’m not a football fan and prefer to sit through the commercials instead because I find them more entertaining than watching a bunch of grown men tackle each other over a pig skin covered ball.
