Beauty salon or online technology to help me upgrade my hairstyle, color and look?

Is there a fairly sophisticated technology available at hair salons or online to accurately assess my face shape and other attributes such as skin color, so as to help me determine the best hair style and/or color for me to go with in order to upgrade my look?

yes it helps you but of course there is a disadvantages, example might your hair damage and the advantage is that it gives color and adds beauty to your self.

Softwares on hairstyle are ok, but do you really have a specific style you like in mind?

Honestly, I found that hairstyle software (the good ones) are really overpriced. A good hairstylist can make all the difference. However, you need to find one that has patience and will work with you. At home w/software, you can take your time and try out different styles before going in - which is time consuming and hard to do during an appointment.
