Beard question

I can't seem to grow facial hair on the front of my chin for some reason. Bottom is fine, my sideburns are fine, but I'd like to get from "chinstrap" to "actual beard". From what I've been looking at, it might be genetic, but I'm not sure. I mean, the hair on top of my head is *extremely* dense, and my nails grow to a good length if I let them and are quite strong, so my facial hair should also be healthy, yes?

It has to do with your genes. When you look at the men in your family do they have facial hair? I think men look much more handsome with a clean shaved face:)
