Bathroom sink terrible stain

I have the worse corotted large stain in my bathroom sink. I tried everything possible and stain does not go away. Please, please give me some advice on how to finally rid myself of it.

Take some bleach and plug the sink pour about one cup in  the sink and let it stand for about  half an or an hour after that use a copper scratcher lightly the whipe with a dry cloth-

Hi ..Thanks for your advice, but we have tried the bleach.  Also, since the stain is above, high up, the sink in the bathroom can't hold water, that high nor bleach that high without going down the holes on top.  Again, thanks so much.
