WOW hard to believe at one time people thought that color was 'cool'!!!
I personally hate that shade of green, so you have my sympathies!!!!
It'd be better, I feel, to brighten the whole thing up with the pinks and greens, more pastels than medium shades!!! Go to a site like Sherwin Williams and look for a color wheel; the color wheel can show you other types of color combos to use with that awful green......But I'd stay away from beiges.....ramp up the pinks and greens!!!!! and MAYBE, just maybe, some yellows, as opposed to the tan/beige tones..
