What should a first-aid kit contain for a 3-week trip to a western country, with a few one-day excursions out of the cities?

Excellent list provided by yoavdothan, but in my experience as a senior medic, those basic kits lacks two important products I found very (very!) useful: Elastic Bandage and large size gauze pads which can applied fast on deep cuts and to block medium hemorrhage, without struggling with adhesive tapes.
