The Barrak Wright Foreign Policy?

Anyone familiar with the views of Barack Obama's pastor of twenty years might wonder if Reverend Jeremiah Wright is the chief inspiration behind the president's foreign policy. The president's overseas forays – dubbed the "American Apology Tour" – have featured Obama issuing one apology after another on behalf of a U.S. he has pronounced guilty of countless transgressions.

Obama has apologized for Guantanamo Bay; for alleged mistakes committed by the CIA; for U.S. policy in the Americas; for America's history of slavery; for "sacrificing [American] values;" for "hasty decisions" in the war on terror; for "America's standing in the world;" for American errors in foreign policy; for U.S. relations with the Muslim world; and for American "arrogance," being "dismissive, [and] even derisive" toward U.S. allies. One gets the sense Obama is far from finished.

Wright, too, found unlimited fault with America. For example, he opposed the great American melting pot. He denounced racial impurity particularly when white men and black women have offspring. "Black women were raped by the millions," Wright claimed in his 1996 book, When Black Men Sand Up for God . "Look around your church or neighborhood at the colors of African people today. America is the land of our trouble," he warned in his 1995 book Africans Who Shaped Our Faith.

Wright lectured his parishioners "When you forget who you are, you start letting your behavior be determined by the enemy's [white people's] expectations. How you act is based upon what they think. And that sickness is perpetuated, because through assimilation and acculturation, you now think just like they think." Wright admonished his congregants "If you are not European, stop pretending you are."

Wright's black separatist sermons have been notorious for racist comments about "white arrogance," "the United States of White America," and "the U.S. of KKK." Wright also accused the U.S. government of conspiring against black people. "The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color. The government lied," he claimed in one sermon. Rather than asking for divine blessings for the U.S., instead Wright urged "G** D*** America!"

In August 2007, Wright delivered a eulogy at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He referred to the nation's Founding Fathers as the "fondling fathers." He called Texas "the cradle of dehumanization," he made an ethnic slur about Italians and "their garlic noses," and he repeatedly mentioned "white enemies." Wright warned mourners of "White supremacist brainwashing, passing itself off as education."

Wright's anti-Semitic leanings seemingly play themselves out in U.S. relations with Israel. Just recently, Wright derided "them Jews" for blocking his access to President Obama.

In contrast to his deference to anti-American leaders such as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, and Daniel Ortega, Obama has strong-armed Benjamin Netanyahu on key Israeli matters. He snubbed the Israeli Prime Minister in his first request to meet with the president. While pronouncing Iran's pursuit of nuclear technology acceptable and announcing the U.S would not meddle in Iran's election, Obama has warned Netanyahu against targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, has demanded an end to Israeli settlements and has insisted on the creation of a two-state Palestine solution. Obama's attitude is not new.

Years ago, Wright and Obama helped organize participation in the 1995 march on Washington led by the deeply anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan. In his remarks, the Nation of Islam leader accused former President George H. W. Bush of "buck-dancing in a yarmulke for the Jews."

Farrakhan's anti-Semitic activities spanned years. Months before the march, he was embroiled in an ugly, anti-Semitic episode. Khalid Abdul Muhammad, a senior Nation of Islam official, delivered three hours of remarks at New Jersey's Keane College that attacked whites, Jews, Catholics, homosexuals and white South Africans.

Muhammad said, "[Jews] are a European strain of people who crawled around on all fours in the caves and hills of Europe, eatin' Juniper roots and eatin' each other. … They're the blood suckers of the black nation and the black community."

Muhammad warned the audience of "Columbia Jew-niversity over in Jew York City." He called the U.N., the "Jew-nited Nations." He said Jews were named Rubenstein, Goldstein and Silverstein because they "[have] been stealing rubies and gold and silver all over the earth. That's why we can't even wear a ring or a bracelet or a necklace without calling it Jewelry … but it's not jewelry, it's Jew-elry."

Muhammad argued Jews who perished in the Holocaust had it coming to them. He asked, "[D]on't nobody ever ask what did they do to Hitler?" Then he answered his own question with, "They had undermined the very fabric of the society."

Prior to his Kean College address, Muhammad dismissed the "so-called Jew holocaust" at appearances in Dallas, Texas and Washington, DC. He argued the film "Schindler's List" should be named "Swindler's List."

Countless public figures implored Farrakhan to repudiate Muhammad. Instead, Farrakhan stood by his friend. At a "Black Men Only" rally of 10,000, Farrakhan said, "We know that Jews are the most organized, rich and powerful people, not only in America, but in the world. They are plotting against us even as we speak." Then Farrakhan clasped Muhammad in an embrace on stage.

Even with Farrakhan's long history of racism, bigotry and anti-Semitism, Wright remained a fervent supporter. In 2007, Wright praised Farrakhan as one who "will be remembered as one of the 20th and 21st century giants of the African-American religious experience." Trumpet , a magazine operated by Wright and Trinity Church, honored Farrakhan in November 2007 with the "Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Trumpeteer" Award for his years of service.

It is understandable that after sitting through 20 years of sermons delivered by the pastor Barack Obama considered his spiritual mentor that Jeremiah Wright's politics would heavily influence Obama's worldview of the U.S. and Israel. It is unfortunate that they do.

I have no doubt the Rev. Wright has influenced Obama, all the people in his life have influenced him from Frank Davis to his Father and stepfather, unfortunately they were all communists and anti American and in Rev. Wrights case, anti white, American and anti semitic. Michele has made anti American remarks as well , meanwhilte they are living it up in the white house like it was 1999.

I have seen Khalid Abdul Mohammad give his rants on stage with Farrakhan, he was off the wall crazy. He pulled no punches and said anything he felt like saying, there was not many groups he did like . Farrakhan was no better but he was a little more careful, Khalid threw caution to the wind and said some horrible things, this was actually on TV, Farrakhan used to have his own show  and thats where I saw him. Not long after the rant and rave speech Khalid gave he was no longer on TV with Lousi F. I think he mus thave been pressured into keeping him off the air, he was really outrageous.

Barack Obama seems to be on freindly terms with every dictator out there, he is the only President I know of who bashed America and Americans on foreign soil. makies you wonder why he bothered to run for President in the first place. I have no doubt tha the is a communist/marxist, not a socialist. He is surrounded by fellow CFR members, he had to give up his membership temporarily when he became president, I'm sure he'll return to it when he is out of office. Most of the congress and the senate are CFR members, Henry Kissinger, who is not only a CFR member but a member of the bilderbergers so Obama is surrounded by anti Americans. He jus tgot involved in a Fight with the Honduran people and the Dictator there , he took the Dictators side naturally.

Obama was a Senator here in Chicago and no one seemed ot know where he came from or what he stood for, he was a Lawyer for Acorn and he was a community organizer, whatever that is. When they made up the stimulus package bail out 8 billion dollars was given to Acorn, I can only imagine why, they are supposed ot be a non profit organization, as far as I knew they were being investigated, now they wioll be vcoming to our homes after the census is taken and asking us all kind so fpersonal questions including your families phone numbers, if you refuse to answer you will be fined 5,000 dollars. same if you are caught lying.  These are peoploe I conside rcriminal yet i have ot have them at my kitchen table asking me how much I weigh and how much money I make.

I am still waitning to see this usurpers birth certificate and school records, every other President has shown them but he won't , it is costing him one million in campaign funds ot keep them hidden, so I don't even consider him my President truthfully. I didn't vote for him. I think the Rev. Wright is still in his life even though he is laying low and keeping his distance, he thought too highly of this rev. to jus tnever keep in touch. I was apalled ot hear some of the things the Wright said , he sounds like a nut to me, and he is doing very well in this country too, all the people that prosper here seem to be the most miserable, why they stay I don't know. The UN will be coming in soon and then the fun will really begin, according to Obama he "believes in them" that was enough for me, I detest the UN, they are corrupt useless country wreckers, thats all they are and they will soon be making laws for us, the likes of which you won't believe , they don't believe in Home ownership or property ownership or growing your own food and they think we have had too much for too long. Obama thinks we are spoiled too I'm sure and he is having all of those parties and taking all of those trips with his whole family in tow just to see what it is he thinks we have been enjoying .

Everyday Obama shows his true colors more and more, he is trying to push this medical plan down all of our throats but he also plans on granting amnesty to millions of illegals in the next couple of months, this plan is for them , not us, but we pay and we will contiue to pay for the rest of the world forever, its our turn to be a third world country now.  He has signed a bill with Mexico that gives anyone who works here for 3 years Social security, and even some of those that didn't. This is no longer America as we know it and that is because of the influendce that Obama has gotten from people like Frank Davis and his stepfather and the Rev. Wright so we now have in the Presidential office running our country a usurper, anti American communist and a first lady who is more barracuda than first lady and also anti American.

Get over your racism.  Call McCain and ask hime what he would have done.  Think...do you have health insurance or are you one of those people who earn anough and are healthy?  Get insurance because you may need it.

Madam,

Have you eve listened to Frank Davis speak with Louis Farakhan? Have you ever listened to Jeremiah Wright ( other than the sound bites on tv)?

I suggest that you do before calling me racist. Those who expose a racist, are not racist. It does NOT take one to know one.

And, if you have listened to Frank Davis, (who by Barrack Obama's own words played a huge part in his formative years, right up to when he first attended college) and you think he is not racist, I fear to think what a REAL racist would be!

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

Marine Dad,

Do you know any racists? Maybe you may know a klansman, or maybe a family member. Did they influence your life? You were in the Marines, surely one of your buddies made a racist remark. Did that influence you? Did you sever your friendship with them?

I have known racists. I have even heard people that say that they are Christians say things with a racial overtone. They did not influence my life or change me from being the child that God wants me to be.

We all know someone (either family or friend) who fits into one of those categories.

We need to look at the individual and  stop trying to judge them by other people behavior.

Be Blessed

Tippy and Emma, Obama went to the Rev. Wrights church for 20 years, he brought his children with him he must have thought it was OK for the Reverend Wright to talk like that. Blacks have a lot of prejudices too. My church influenced me, why else would I go if not to be influenced, that is what a church is for, to soak up good influences and to worship your God, not spout off aobut hateful things and name calling, in the case of the Rev. Wright Obama should not have gone to a church like that with someone spouting the kind of hate he was , there was nothing subtle about the way he felt and made it clear that whitey was the devil along with the Jews. Would you bring your children to a church like that? he had to have an influence on him. Obama was brought up by  communists, his Dad and his step dad were  communists, Obama is a marxist, how do you think he got that way?

You don't think we are being lead into communism? we certainly are, wait until Obamas pals , Acorn come to your door , an they will, and ask you personal questions, how much do you weigh, how many live births have you had , how much do you make, how much money in the bank, your families phone numbers etc. if you don't answer you will be fined 5000 dollars. Last time I saw Acorn they were being investigated by our Government until Obama told them to stop it, now they are coming to my house and your house and asking questions I have to anser or I get fined 5,000 dollars? that is communism. Someone had an influence on Obama, in fact I think he is easily influenced. I'm from Brooklyn, I am not into racism, I don't know many racists , one that I do know is black. Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton is another. I don't think the Marine is racist just because he asked a question about racism, that is what yedda is for, shall we censor anyone who wants to ask a question about racism that you don't like? now thats racist. what has John Mc Cain has to do with this, or health insurance, health insurance is going to be for the illegal aliens that are going to be given amnesty in a couple of months, not us, you will pay for it though. Just because Obama is black doesn't mean he is good, I'm white, Bush was white and he stunk, why should Obama be so wonderful just because he is black? you sound kind of racist yourselves. But yes, The Rev. wright was and is prejudiced and Obama thought that was OK, and good friend that Obama is , he dropped him like a hot potato because it made him look  bad when the prejudiced Reverend came to peoples attention, the same way he is hiding the facts about himself in other areas. Being black doesn't automatically make you good and it doesn't make you fair and non prejudiced either. The Marine asked a legitimate question, that is what yedda is for.

Hi Locolady,

Thank you for your opinion. You said in your response " The Marine asked a legitimate question". My response to that is that I gave a legitimate answer to his question, which was strictly my opinion. Like you said, that is what Yedda is for. I was not trying to be rude nor disrespectful, I was just telling the truth the way I felt about it. If I offended you with my comment I apologize but it was my opinion of how I felt.
