I believe that News Views is truly American Patriot in disguise. Why would News Views even tackle a subject matter that they have no idea of whence the speak. It appears that whenever the Party of NO is caught in their own lies, uses their newspapers to make talking points, uses Fox Noise to prove what they say to be true, then I have a great deal of mistrust about what they have to say. Me, when it comes to what Obama is doing, he inherited each and every problem from GW Bush. You know the budget that is growing in leaps and bounds. That fincancial bill was passed long before Obama was sworn into the Presidency. If you don't believe what I have to say, seek the information on the internet to see if I am correct or incorrect. I do promise, American Patriot, that I will apologize if I am wrong, if you promise to apologize if you are wrong. Michael Joel Held

I think Mike Held is right on the mark.

I could care less what the Brits think.  We are carrying the burden in Afghanistan, and it is important that Obama takes his time and gets it right regarding our future actions.  He, not McCrystal, is the commander-in-chief responsible for making the correct strategic decisions.  McC should be fired for leaking his personal views.

Would people prefer the Commander in Chief to rush into decisions that will inevitably cost American lives? Obama is right not to jump on the bandwagon and flippantly jump to conclusions that will have long term profound consequences for the world. As the leader of the free world, which he is, regardless of how we like to ignore that fact, he needs to show reasoned level headed judgement. Perhaps, we have all grown used to the half-witted decision making that dogged the last presidency and we are having difficulty grasping the concept of a leader who actually values American lives. Take your time Obama! Let the British say and do what they like! They were chased out of that part of the world along time ago because they treated the people like they were sub-human pawns in an empirial game of chess between themselves and the other European powers. We only have to look at the stories that are now emerging of how they treated their prisoners in places like Basra to see how hypocritical they are in their self righteousness. They would be better served worrying about David Cameron's intentions. He might have the silver tongue but he is Thatchers prodigy nevertheless.
