Bacterial Stomach Infections

How contagious are bacterial stomach infections? My father in law is sick and my family has been exposed to him. Should I be concerned about my toddler getting this?

No. Infected stomach is a lack of good bacterial flora. Increase on your bran or flax. My question however is how do you know it is an infected stomach? One can not get infected that way.
