About this time of year -- the beginning of June. Blue Birds prefer open areas -- such as as in the county, a golf-corse, to nest and bring up their baby birds - (fledglings). There is a special bird house made specifically for blue birds, and usually the bird house is put in wide, open areas. They prefer that type of setting and feed their young fledglings mealworms and different types of insects. The male is much more colorful than the female. They may bring up 1-2 families starting in June.
