Sweetie your baby is going through a 'growth spurt' this is normal for babies to go through.. this is where they frequently feeding..physical growth is the not the only reason for this spurt to happen but also for other developmental advances.. such as rolling over..crawling walking.. etc.. growth spurts happen to babies around the time of their age such as 7-10 days..2-3 weeks..4-6 weeks.. 3 months ( probably close to what your baby is concerning age which is a reason for the increase in appetite.).. 4 months ..6 months and so on... these growth spurts last for 24 hours to about a week.. there is nothing wrong with your baby at all.. your baby is actually doing great! Just let your baby lead and you both will do just fine.. let the baby cue you and flow into the growth spurts by providing him the nutrition he needs.. every 2 to 3 hours is ok for a bottle fed baby during a growth spurt.. breast babies go every hour to 2 hours between feedings ( I have went through this).. so your little one is normal.. he is developing well and needs the frequent feedings to help him grow and be a healthy little man!... good luck!
P.s do not add cereal to your baby's bottle.. that is a big no no!.. you can actually over feed the baby because the cereal will expand in his belly when he is fed a thick bottle.. this can cause him to spit up and choke on his own vomit.. it is best to go with the flow and give the baby formula.. it is actually a myth adding cereal to your baby's bottle..
