I'm not sure but it has something to do with age.

66 is the age when people retire and bell is to remind them to wake up, life is just starts at that age.

If play online bingo there is no such a sound:)

I still haven't found the answer, but if it is age-related, that could make sense. I've played Bingo in New York for years, and someone always rings a bell when 0-66 is called. Now, I live in Pennsylvania, and they do it here too. I appreciate your efforts in finding an answer for me. Thank you.
