Shouldn't a Supreme Court Judge first of all be of 'good character'?

Sonya Sotomayor lives above her means to the extent that she has over $300,000.00 in consumer debt.  Consumer debt.  Not mortgage.  Consumer.  That is not a wise thing for anyone to do, Latina or not.  That shows a lack of self-discipline, a lack of restraint, possibly an addiction to shopping.

I have been very busy and not able to follow things as I usually do, however the little I saw and heard of the Sotomayor's hearing was pathetic.  She had been fed the questions posed by Democrats.  She jumped in to answer before the questions were even finished.  She blithered through her non-answers to Republican questions.  She is a champion blitherer.  Wise Latina?  Her mother looks like a wise Latina.  Sonya is a koolaid drinking, mentally crippled, progressive socialist with nothing in her resume but a socialist agenda.  Too bad U.S.A.  we got another dud.

The American Bar Association has plenty of dirt on their hands.  For example, they don't want anyone to shut down their gravy train excursions into the land of outrageous medical lawsuits.  Trusting their judgement is perhaps not the wisest thing in the world for a citizen of a "free" country.  They have an agenda.  That agenda is to keep the justice system wide open like the wild west so they can gun sling and leach money out of our pockets ad infinitum.
