There are lies, damned lies, and statistics.

When you say 60% of her ruling have been overturned, what you actually mean is that of all of her rulings, only FIVE were appealed and only THREE of those were reversed. So in all of her years on the federal bench, she has only been reversed THREE TIMES.

You have a right to oppose this nominee, but at least have the integrity to report the facts correctly

Q: What percentage of Sonia Sotomayor's opinions have been overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court?
Have Judge Sotomayor's decisions really been overturned 80 percent of the time as Rush Limbaugh stated on May 26?
A: Three of her opinions have been overturned, which is 1.3 percent of all that she has written and 60 percent of those reviewed by the Supreme Court.
Of the majority opinions that Judge Sonia Sotomayor has authored since becoming an appellate judge in 1998, three of her appellate opinions have been overturned by the Supreme Court. 

Our search for appellate opinions by Sotomayor on the LexisNexis database returned 232 cases. That's a reversal rate of 1.3 percent. 

But only five of her decisions have been reviewed by the justices. Using five as a denominator, the rate comes out to 60 percent.

An honest judge wouldn't even approve Soe-Toe-My-OR to sit on a jury.  She has made clearly racist statements.  She considers herself to be a better judge than a white man who wasn't poor.

She has an obvious social agenda as demonstrated by her membership in La Raza.

The White House has encouraged her apology for the racist statement most in the news, but an apology doesn't make the problem of her racial attitude go away.

Beyond being a racist like Barack Obama, she is also a socialist, like Barack Obama.  Let's hope she is not as angry and narcissistic as Barack Obama.

There is no doubt, her ideology trumps the law as far as Sotomayor is concerned.  The many overturned cases is proof she is a bad judge.

We don't need a Supreme Court judge who filters the Constitution through the hurt feelings of a poor hispanic child anymore than we need one who filters the Constitution through the pride of being a good soccer player.  Legal training exists to clear personal feelings out of the way.  The black robe is worn to clear personality out of the way.  Justice that is not blind is no justice at all.

As a person who has sat on juries, I know that there are plenty of stupid judges, lazy judges, drunken judges and crooked judges sitting on benches in this country.  There are also plenty of angry judges and ideological judges attempting and succeeding at legislating from the bench. What we don't need is an angry judge with a social agenda sitting in the Supreme Court.

It is bad enough that we have a president who is nothing more than a stunted angry little boy behind a charismatic mask.  It is bad enough that we will have to deal with BamBam's social agenda for the next three plus years.

How unsurprising that Marshabar refers to an African American in his 40s as as "angry little boy."  'Nuff said?

And let me start with so we are not called "raciest" one of the kool-aid drinking bleeding hearts newest come backs, i myself am not of spanish origin, but, i have much of my family that has married into it, we have just about all of the latina countries that you can name! And that includes a cuban jew, costa rica, puerto rico, columbia, i am sorry if i left any of my loved ones out......But not one of them are kool-aid drinking socialist, just the reverse, they lived in counries like that and sure as hell are not going back to that kind of life! And no way is she going to be confirmed, to many are opening thier blinded eyes to see now what we have in the chair of power, and thank god i do not think that they like what they see........

David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few more examples of narcissists of our tim e. All these men had a tremendous influence over their followers. They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They promised hope! They promised the moon, but alas, invariably they brought their followers to doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality , you don't know it until too late. One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse.

His parents divorced when he was an infant (two years old). Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. The pathological narcissist is someone we see over and over again in history.  The mental disorder is a classic.  The symptoms are readily apparent.  When we have had men rise to power on the basis of the preternatural charisma which is one of the symptoms of the disorder, it has meant much suffering for mankind. 

What causes the condition is a traumatic childhood.  All pathological narcissists from Alexander to Hitler to Hussein to Barack Hussein Obama share the traumatic childhood,  the abandonment, the confusion, the fear and pain.

The child builds an indestructible persona, a mask, to hide the scared child.  Without deep therapy the scared child is always at the center of the narcissistic projection.

Narcissists come to power when they happen to live in a narcissistic, hero worshipping time frame, as Obama does now.

The one bright light in our situation with Obama, something that may keep him from playing out his psychodrama on the world stage to the detriment of all mankind, is that it is difficult for him to hide.  The exposure of his true self and the resultant lack of hero worship just may crack him up before he can do much damage.

Narcissists live on and require adoration.  If Obama comes to be pitied or despised, his alter ego will be starved and the child within will throw a  tantrum.

First of all obama is not a "black"man , he's mixed race and uses his islamic name!Know to the part of him that is of african desent, that is from kenya, that is where they sold the slaves, his family had been sleve traders! So the house he now lives in was built by the same people that had been sold, how ironic!!! As for you post you have him down to a tee! He fits the profile of a "narcissist" perfectly!!! If anyone had watched him in the debates it was shown very clearly, the anger was very controled, but still there............

First you declare that Barack Obama is not a Black man because of his mom's background.

Think for a moment.

If he were waiting on a street corner in the rain, what race would the taxi driver see?

If he were pulled over by a cop, what race would the police officer see?

If someone who looked like him tried to get into a "whites only" waiting room, what do you think the reaction of others would be.

In fact, under the laws of many states in the 1950s, it would be illegal for him to marry a white woman.

Now kindly tell me which of our country's heroes I called a racist??
