The door panels are held in place with screws and specialized fasteners. Look for screws in the armrest, or hidden under pop-off covers. Once screws are out, grasp the panel with both hands and pull it toward you. Don't yank or you'll break or lose some of the fasteners. Once the panel is off, it's pretty easy to remove the mirror. You'll probably need a small allen wrench, available at a parts store. I always advise the purchase of a repair manual for your car.
