Is there such a car that is an Oldsmobile and a Buick in one? Someone is telling me that his car is a Buick / Oldsmobile 98 Regency Elite, is that possible? I know that "GM" sometimes dual Marque cars but did that happen in this case and if it did where might I find that information? Thank You
No there was no such thing made. However G.M. did back in the early to late 70's use Olds engines in Pontiacs, Pontiac engines in Buicks, and so forth.
The 350 Olds and the 403 Olds was the most popular to use in other makes of the G.M. line.
Back in the day, we had the Buick version labeled "Electra 225". I affectionately called this "the boat" as it was huge. I thought that the guts of the two versions were the same, only the "skin and decorations" were different.
