Automatice garage door opener problem

A new garagedoor opener was installed this week, but the door keeps opening on its own.  How do we fix this?

Try resetting the code on the sending and receiving units, in case someone in the neighborhood has the same signal and is triggering your door by accident.

Check to be sure your safety beams on the bottom of the door frame are properly aligned if they are off just a little vibration can break the beam and open the door, these safeties are designed to open the door if the beam is broken, also check that the switch on the opener that tells the opener the door is closed is made if it is barely making than the vibration can also open the door by default.
