recently got an estimate for a window motor replacement. The estimate was for 175. and the bill was 247. No notification as to the additional. What can I do?

Heck yes they have to notify you of any additional fees. Otherwise they could tell you that some work that you want done will cost $50 bucks and then try to charge you $250, but if you've got a written estimate you're golden and you only own them $50. I sure hope that you didn't pay the weasles. Debbie

When I was a service mgr. at a dealership we told people that it was an estimate only and we were allowed 10% difference in the final price in case something unforseen came up,but we always called the customer to let them know. You should have been told about any extra money and if it is a written estimate,go to the top and COMPLAIN to get your price difference back and notify BBB.Sorry it happened to you.
