There are 10s of thousands of Americans who have spent some time in Canada and have used both health systems. Which did they find better? Lots of people who have used both prefer the Canadian one. GM also prefers to create jobs in Canada rather than the US because of health care.
Pat D - it is all over the Canadian newspapers that Canadians come to the United States for their medical care - because of the out-dated and antiquated nationalized health care in Canada - SOCIALIZED mEdicine - that does not work - with long waits for "appointments" - before the "long wait" for medical care.
Severed is making stuff up - trying to have OBamacare appear to be about "health care" - when it absolutely is not.

Pat D what you said is true, and if GM and the other auto companies were interested in survival they should have supported government health care here, so they could get out from under their health care costs and be competitive. Instead they shafted their stockholders by opposing a policy that could have made them financially much sounder. And two of them went bankrupt.
GM couldn't run the auto making business. What could they possible know about health care. Have you been swimming in the same pond as Frog. Get the moss out of your eye's then maybe you can see the forrest.Good luck.
