Assault

Someone I know was assaulted in school, in a classroom. Now the young lady was only 17 years old. what actions can I take legally for her? If any?

You can be a main witness for her and speak at a trial, but you will have to sue with your friend.  She, as the one who was assaulted, needs to agree that she wants to go along with this.  I would talk with her and tell her that you can do this together, and that you'll be there for her 100%.  Good luck.  I hope you can get justice for what happened.
