Asa H. Coon Cleveland Ohio shooting in school

A 14 year old kid in Cleveland Ohio shot his teachers and class mates because he was angry at his school.

2 teachers and 2 kids are killed, and then he commits suicide.

Who's to blame?

School?

The parents?

The people who sold him the gun?

12 thumbs up

It was a fake but made by a myspace user somewhere in sw us area that was trying to bring up some support for the incident but in a positive sense get people to discuss such issues surrounding incidents like his.

Either way it was pulled.

4 thumbs up

I am also a Cleveland resident and i also work with and i am friends with his mother.  he may not have had the ideal upbringing, but i know Lori did try and she did care!! So please don't say his warning signs were ignored! he was a very troubled kid, and it is so sad that this had to happen,  but i can't point blame right now becaus i just keep thinking of my friend who's life is destroyed! i need to feel some empathy right now!

4 thumbs up

i think everyone needs to get all the facts straight before you start pointing fingers and spreading rumors. it was not his cousin he was involved with, it was his brother. and his mother, whom i personally know, did see the signs- she knew he was troubled and she did get him help, she did care! and if he was left home alone while on suspension maybe that would be because his mom (who was a single mother of 4 kids) HAD to work! I know for a fact that she did call and check on her kids several times a day, even when they were in school.  So please don't make statements about anything that you don't know is a fact. No one really knows everything- it all died in the mind of a very troubled kid!
