I had a stand at a gift show a few years ago and we sent all our customers an invite with a discount on the cost of entry to encourage them to come.
The best way to attract people once at the show is to have a discount basket - any end of line or damaged goods - people could not get enough of it and once they were on the stand, they also bought other things.
