Aqua Dots Beads and Rape Drug

5 children were hospitalized after swallowing Aqua Dots, not because of the swallowed beads but because they are covered in a substance that can be used as the rape drug.

Am I now in extra danger because any crazy guy out there has free access to the rape drug?

It probably means you should be careful, but that's good advice anyway these days. I always try to teach my grandchildren to be very much aware of what they're drinking, who they're going with etc. Never leave your drink unattended, never accept anything from strangers, and never go anywhere you don't know how to get back from...

I don't think you need to worry too much more than you used to. Several drugs that are used as rape drugs aren't that hard to obtain and a person just needs to know someone on psychiatric medication in order to get his hands on the drug. Best, as stated by others, to simply be careful and keep your drink close to you.
