When did money equate to power?

Apples suppress appetite?

One study in Brazil found that women who ate the equivalent of three small apples a day as part of a healthy diet lost significantly more weight than those who didn't eat apples.

I've heard the saying 'an apple a day keeps the doctors away,' but can this be true? Does anyone find that eating an apple suppresses his/her appetite?

I would say yes conditionally.

apples are high in fiber and are a tasty sweet and tart snack.  I would recommend everyone eat more apples since it is expensive to get a salad when one is eating away from home.  It certainly would be better to eat an apple then a bag of corn chips, but the best appetite suppressant is a high protein meat.

How about them apples?

I certainly feel that apples fill you up for a good, long while.
