Apple TV

I don't understand what's the point of the Apple TV. If I have a computer and it's connected to the internet and to my TV, there's absolutely no use for the Apple TV for me, right? It's just a way to get the TV work with iTunes, or am I missing something?

You have already answered your question. (apple) tv, APPLE tv, apple......  I like you ymd.  You don't let the apple brand get in the way of your thought process. You don't think somethings amazing just because its made by apple. I dont think its does anything special either other than make it wireless. If you can get past the fact that its wireless, alls it is is pretty crap. If you think wireless is worth $300. Then go ahead and buy one.
