I recently found out that my logic board in my ...

I recently found out that my logic board in my macbook pro is broken and needs repair. They tell me $1200 for a new one which I am not considering at all. A technician told me that my logic board has no physical evidence of damage but it is definitly the logic board causing the problem with my mac. Any suggestions on who to contact?
