Antique purses

I have some antique purses that were my mother's    Where can I go to see how much they are worth  as well   potentially sell them

Sally,  You can search the web, or your local telephone book, for antique dealers in your area.  Call one and make an appointment for an appraisal.  Some dealers will even come to your home.  If you get lucky, the dealer may even buy them.  Good luck.  I hope you get big bucks.

Sally, If you are near a library they might have some good price guides on purses.  If your purses are mesh or very old beaded bags I would suggest "Antique Purses" by Richard Holilner, if they are more on the modern side I would suggest "Popular Purses" by Leslie Pina and Donald-Brian Johnson.  Good Luck with your collection.
