Is there anyone out there that knows anything about this antique childs bed I have? The spring is built in and the legs fold under to collapse the bed. It looks like an older youth or toddler bed. I have never seen anything like it. Can provide ictures if needed. Thanks- Pam

No, I'm not an antiques dealer, just old myself. But maybe you can search trundle beds and find out more. They still make them, so include antique in your search terms or you'll be deluged with hits. I tried and found lots of antique trundles for sale.

I have the same type bed as you described. My grandmother called it a youth bed. The legs fold under and the spring is built in. Never heard it called a trundle though.

My grandmother has been deceased for over 20 years. I know she got hers from her mother. Don't know from where or when. I have never seen another one like it.
