Tippy, yeah, the nut jobs are busy today.  They have been attacking everybody that posts to me, too, so a lot of people are losing thumbs as we speak.  Even Yaniv is getting attacked, though I find it hard to feel sympathy for him over it.  Two years ago he said it would be "thumbs down with a reason" and if he had kept his promise none of this thumbs war would be happening.  And letting people post answers and thumbs without even confirming their e-mail address is just plain wrong.

I am also getting annoyed that Yedda won't tell us anything about these crazies.  We could lean on their ISP to cut off their service, since this type of thing is probably prohibited by their terms of service.  It also would be nice to at least know what country this is all coming from.  We could write their embassy and ask for real help to stop these international attacks.

Oh, well, I guess that in a few days I will move elsewhere.  There is no point in staying if I have to give up my profile and my history here just to stop being harassed on every thread I post to, and dragging new people into the mess everytime they respond to me.

While I hope that Yedda does end this once and for all, I seriously have my doubts and I am continuing to look at other sites without these problems.

People like this "he has risen" that use religion as a cover for their personal evil are .....  well, words fail me.  I just want to forget about it and go away.  The solution to the problem is too easy and Yedda is too lax for allowing it.

The road to nowhere is paved with good intentions.

Repartee, I didn't call you an "instigator."

I enjoy reading. For more than a year now it's been my way of getting to know people in the Yedda community, and learning lots of cool stuff, reading people's personalities. My favorite part is giving thumbs up to the good people, smart people, who truly pour their hearts out to help others.

When I saw you here, "thumbless" I started reading your recent answers as a way of getting to know you better.  This comment here was not to insult you, but to help you start getting your thumbs back.... if you actually care.

Sincerely, the flower child with the milly mouth.. as you so nicely put it.

I am not into Yedda for thumbs, I said that when I first begun and if you go back far enough you would get a very good idea of who I am.

No I do not like Flower Children or Milley mouthed people who believe appeasement is best for every situation.  That is what is getting our country into deep trouble.

By the same token I am not a warmonger and destest death and dying and killing, however a stronghand is the switch that does not break the Spirit but stregnthens the man.

Thanks for the advice you do your thing for your thumbs and I will do what is best for me and what I believe in thumbs be damned.

There is a fine line between appeasement and common sense.

No offense but I have no wish to continue on with this conversation and if your are a lady you will oblige and being, most of the time, a gentleman I will oblige.

Different strokes for different folks.

The picture is painted with many colors this is what keeps America Great, pity if we were to all be the same and do like the little creatures that jump off the cliff.

At this point in time.

With all due respect

Goodday

It's a waste, political gossip and conspiracy theories.  Shameful that people buy it, drama queens the worst indulgent in this.  Watch out, drama queens use and abuse you, don't get too friendly they turn like rabid dogs.

I too think it is about time to correct this harrassment.  How do we get it to stop?

First get Yedda to admit which country it is coming from so we know if we are dealing with domestic or foreign terrorists.  My country frowns on a lot of things said and done here, and I have seen posts the secret service would investigate if it were reported to them.  They take any death threats to our politicians very seriously, even when posted by schoolchildren.  They can't touch anyone outside the country, but here they track them down very quickly and make public examples of them.  I have seen this happen several times with children making death threats.  Adults go to jail right away.

Second, this allowing people to use duplicate names has to stop.  What kind of site allows that?  This is the first I have seen.  If these profiles are being registered through other sites that allow the names, then that should be plainly visible as part of the name.

This is getting a little too ridiculous, and Yedda keeping so quiet about what is wrong only makes it worse.  The whole point of this site is to relate your problems and questions and seek solutions.  The site itself needs to do that.  The more they keep us in the dark, the less able we are to defend ourselves from attack.  They play right into the hands of those who would divide and conquer.  I am doing more to rally the forces of light than they are at the moment, and that isn't the way things are supposed to be run.  I'm supposed to sit back and spread enlightenment to those who ask for it, not lead a rebel charge against the establishment and outside attackers simultaneously.

You can tell this is getting on my nerves when I start to bitch about it.  I hit the report abuse button a bunch of times tonight for someone posting with bogus avatars.  I haven't bothered to report the one in this thread yet.  I did write another letter to the staff about it tonight, too.  I wasn't kidding when I told Yaniv that this is wasting a lot of my time on crap when I could be answering questions.  I must have spent at least an hour (not counting this next post) reporting that duplicate avatar junk.

I don't know what to tell you about a solution we can carry out without the help of Yedda.  Come the Ides of March I may turn my back on Caeser so I don't have to watch him get knifed, if Caeser chooses to ignore the soothsayer.
