Tippy, yeah, the nut jobs are busy today. They have been attacking everybody that posts to me, too, so a lot of people are losing thumbs as we speak. Even Yaniv is getting attacked, though I find it hard to feel sympathy for him over it. Two years ago he said it would be "thumbs down with a reason" and if he had kept his promise none of this thumbs war would be happening. And letting people post answers and thumbs without even confirming their e-mail address is just plain wrong.
I am also getting annoyed that Yedda won't tell us anything about these crazies. We could lean on their ISP to cut off their service, since this type of thing is probably prohibited by their terms of service. It also would be nice to at least know what country this is all coming from. We could write their embassy and ask for real help to stop these international attacks.
Oh, well, I guess that in a few days I will move elsewhere. There is no point in staying if I have to give up my profile and my history here just to stop being harassed on every thread I post to, and dragging new people into the mess everytime they respond to me.
While I hope that Yedda does end this once and for all, I seriously have my doubts and I am continuing to look at other sites without these problems.
People like this "he has risen" that use religion as a cover for their personal evil are ..... well, words fail me. I just want to forget about it and go away. The solution to the problem is too easy and Yedda is too lax for allowing it.
JUDE48, don't worry about my thumbs or restoring anybody's thumbs. Just give out thumbs up when you see a good answer, and forget about the rest of it . Think about the good stuff and have fun. Report abuse when you see it, then forget about it and go back to having fun. That is what this is all supposed to be about, having fun sharing knowledge. The staff seems to have gotten a bug up their butt and are getting back on top of the situation. Now it is time to relax a little and give them a chance to do their jobs. Go on, have fun. It's fun to have fun.

I have some great news I want to share with you guys.. Today someone posted a nasty comment to me on some questions I asked. Instead of confronting the person, and going back a forth until it could have gotten out of hand, I immediately reported the comment to Yedda, and within hours it was simply deleted!
Hooray. One more good story from Asha. A few people have told me similar stories, and some of the thumbs are being restored, too. The staff seems to have woken up and gotten to work on cleaning this mess up.
Hey everybody, well Sharpy/Shortcake/Yadja she calls herself now continues to go into every post I make and harrass me. She slowed down some but now she is back at it and getting worse.
A tiger can't change it's stripes.
I keep sending to Yedda, don't know why she allowed to stay.
Guess just keep doing what I do, her goal is to get rid of me, but I won't go.

You have to stop antagonising them, Repartee. Just stop.
Repartee, I ran across a "Yadja" post in which the poster claimed to have 107 Yedda accounts. I reported that post to Yedda with a note pointing out the remark and left it at that.
The best thing to do is report the post and ignore them otherwise. Everytime you make a post to them, they think they are winning, or at least in the game and still fighting.
There is an old saying, "The best revenge is a life well lived."
The more you ignore them and have fun on Yedda, the worse they will feel, and the more helpless they will become. Everytime they see you responding to them they will just feel encouraged to attack you more because they can see it affects you. You win by being happy and carefree, and that is not a bad thing.
I am offended at the remark I have antagonized anyone. I was attacked and harrassed, I did very little answering back.
I am not the antagonizer in this game. I continue to send all harrassing comments to Yedda. Assessing the President we had good comments going among us last night and the true antagonizer kept up, she was ignored.
I am a grow-up who is in charge of my life and have delt with much worse than this. Strategy many times takes different forms and has to conform to every situtation. I have already heard from Yedda, they know who is who.
Dawg is now going under Truthorconsequences and I believe he is going to go straight.
