Is Antarctica really worth it ?

I am considering a trip to Antarctica , it sounds like an adventure but I do not know if it is worth the cost ( around 5000$ !!! and more ) , so if anyone been there I would love to hear about it.

Antarctica is magnificent and wild, the Southern Ocean are… beyond imagination… Time has no meaning there while the  snow falls in fine grains, it makes us humans seem quite insignificant, It was an amazing experience.

I have to add that I love the cold weather , if you don't do not wase your time !
