Anorexia

My parents think i'm anorexic and i hate that cause i know for a fact i'm not but the more they keep telling me i am the more it's getting to me and probably making me become anorexic.CryBut they don't understand how i feel and i try telling them i'm not but they are always making jokes on how i look like it and it hurts me mentally. How can i prove to them that i'm not??

79 thumbs up

I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.

First, I would like to complement you on the mature way you are handling this situation. Since I don't know where you live, I can only give you a general answer. There is probably a hotline in your community that you can call people that deal with all aspects of anorexia. Explain to them what is going on between you and your parents, and ask if it is possible to have the three of you along with a person that deals with anorexia sit down and openly discuss the situation and get everything out in the open. Hopefully, your parents will be able to understand both your side of the story and what they are doing to you. I am sure they are only trying to help you.
