Do you think that because of her political involvement and humanitarian efforts in Africa, Angelina Jolie is a good role model for young women? Do her personal life decisions counteract this image as a good role model?
If the definition of a role model is a person who serves as a model in a particular behavioral or social role for another person to emulate, then I think her particular behaviour of being such a good Samaritan and humanitarian by actually getting involved in projects with refugees and being a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency(not to mention a mother for 3 adopted children), counteracts whatever personal behaviour society may want to weigh down upon her demeanor.

I think Jolie's humanitarian efforts and her efforts to raise awareness about third world countries' suffering is something to look up to; but as for her personal decisions, she's just another homewrecker in my eyes. She pursued a man who was legally married to another woman and broke up that marriage. She's made money off of others' suffering and off of her own family. She had a baby out-of-wedlock and is pregnant with another baby. In my eyes, she's the worst type of role model.

I hate that Angleina has been screwing guys with significant others with absolutely no feelings about it whatsoever.And it's not just Brad,she screwed and married Billy Bob when he was engaged to Laura Dern!As much as I hate that quality in anyone,I love that she uses her wealth and status for good causes.

Yes shes a very good role model shes my role model look at all she does for the world and shes far from selfish and shes giving children a better life ....Like me she loves kids and shes always helping the poor.... She rocks and thats why i wanna be like her too help others... Its not all about her ...She can do anything she wants and she makes time for other people ...She should get an award for what she does rock on angelina and keep on keepen on !!!!!!
So yeah, she has made alot of money from her ex's but look at what shes doing to help the world! Jolie has prompted humanitarian causes throughout the world and is also noted for her work with refugees. As far as im concerned she is a good role model to the community and has done more than any of us to help prevent poverty to those suffering.
I honstly think that shes not a good romodel because little kids look up to her or are supposed to look up to her but then they she shes have kid after kid after kid its crazy but she only has 3 bilogical kids the rest where adoptated
I think Angelina Jolie is a great role model. She has done a lot and her ideas are strong which helps to secure her path down the road. Angelina's personal life should not affect or "take away" from the person she really is. Everyone has problems...it may be frowned upon thanks to the media- but if people were posting your every move on the web and in the front page one would think differently about you as well. Just a thought.
