If Angelina Jolie had such difficulties selling, and she plans on having her twins in France anyway, why did she sell it anyway?
The condo may be too small for her large family. If so, she would have no reason to hang on to it especially if it hadn't been in the family that long. If her Mom had left a large estate in France, it may have turned out differently. She did what was best for everyone involved.

I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't as close with her mother as she claimed to be. I know that if I was as close with my mother as Jolie said she was, and had the kind of money Jolie had, I wouldn't sell my dead mother's house just because it was too small for my family. I mean, it's not like it would have put a dent in my pocket to keep it.
I have a feeling she simply didn't want to live there. Perhaps because it was her mother's house. It's not as if she has financial trouble and she can probably live practically anywhere she wants in France.
