Angelina was due to give a talk at the Pio Manzu Centre near Rimini as part of a conference entitled “The Flight of the Hummingbird--The Future of Children in the Mind and Society of the World”--but pulled out at the last minute.
Local newspaper reports claim Jolie cancelled the appearance after discovering she was expecting--and a spokeswoman for the Pio Manzu Centre appeared to 'confirm' the media speculation.
Letizia Manjani says, "Angelina cancelled last week. Due to her privacy I can't confirm her pregnancy, but I can say that the Italian newspapers are correct in their reports."
I think we'll hear from the actress herself in the next couple of weeks. I mean, she wore a big, voluminous, figure-concealing dress that was so billowing and expansive (and a train so long, she's actually carrying it) to the SAG Awards, I don't think she'll have the chance to run from the question much longer. As for whether it's twins or not, I think only time (or her spokesperson) will tell.
