What is Amy Winehouse Afraid of?

Would you read Blake Fielder-Civil's book about Amy if he wrote it?

Why would she care? After all, it's not as if she has many secrets the media and the public don't already know about.. What is she so concerned about?

Thin slices of thought cut quickest.

I would read the book.

I believe that Amy is afraid of the scenerios that Blake will be able to descibe of her under the influence...We all know her public type encounters and those were bad enough! Imagine just how bad things got in private. Also he would be able to describe how much and how often and just what amounts of drugs and alcohol she was taking.....If you see pictures of her from 3-4 years ago and compare them to what she looks like now, she has definatly done a whole bunch o' something.

People say that in the 70s bands like tha Stones and Zepplin were hard party people. She has aged 25 yrs in less than 5. Mick Jagger looks better than her. I have followed this girls spiral down for awhile and am surprised that she is still alive. Its a sad thing to watch, but I still want to know more.

I do not know if Blake could even write a book though. And I heard rumors that he will not publish if she gives him 1 mill. Could just be a shakedown.

I think she is afraid of everyone knowing what an insecure little girl she is who does everything for attention.  She is hugely talented as a singer, but her personality is lacking an substance - which is evident when she is interviewed.  She is just an essex girl who done good.

bring it on, i cannot wait to read the book.

So this is what our society does now?  A person has a disease (because addiction IS a disease, after all) and we call them freaks?  Anyone ever hear the term "There but for the grace of God go I?"  I guess if someone you love develops a problem, everyone should just heap more abuse upon their shoulders rather than offering up some human compassion then, huh?  The fishbowl mentality we are currently existing in has grown tiresome.  I think the problem is that everyone is struggling, and looking to take the world down with them.  We already put celebrities on pedestals, so how powerful we all feel when we get to toss a few bricks to knock them off.  I find this facet of the human race to be very disappointing.
